Julius Green, recently born was enumerated September 12, 1850, at Keokuk, Lee County, Iowa, with Lucius C. Green 39 and a Plaster, Harriet Green 35, Salesta Green 10, Harriet Green 8, James H. Green 5, Lucina Green 3.

Julius Green, age 10 years, was enumerated June 22, 1860, at Harmony, Hancock County, Illinois, with L. C. Green 42 and a Farmer, Harriet Green 40, Celestine Green 20, Nathaniel Green 18, James Green 13, Marcella Green 8, Eliphalet Green 6, Elijah Green 4, Francis Green 2.

Julius Green, whose residence was Hamilton, Illinois, enlisted and mustered-in as Private, Company D, 78th Illinois Infantry, November 16, 1864. He was transferred to Company E, 34th Illinois Infantry, June 7 and was mustered-out at Louisville, Kentucky, July 12, 1865.

J. M. Green, age 30 years, was enumerated during June 1880 at Fort Robinson, White River and Soldier Creeks, Sioux County, Nebraska, with L. F. [Retta F. Swalley] Green 23, Jas. A. Green 3, Julius M. Green 6 months, L. F. Green Brother 26. Julius M. Green, Jr., born December 16, 1879, died November 1, 1884. Julius M. Green filed for a pension from Nebraska August 5, 1889. Julius M. Green was enumerated in the 1890 Veterans Schedules during June 1890 at Pioche, Lincoln County, Nevada.

DIES FROM A SEVERE ATTACK OF GASTRITIS AFTER FEW DAYS. Yesterday morning, at 6 o'clock, Julius Monroe Green succumbed to an acute attack of gastritis, after an illness of only a few days. Deceased was 57 years of age and a native of Iowa. His remains were taken in charge by the Ruffner undertaking establishment to be prepared for burial. The funeral will take place this morning at 10 o'clock under the auspices of the Grand Army of the Republic. Interment will be had in the Citizens' cemetery.
