Justin C. Green, 34, of Central City, Colo., formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013, at his home.
He was born Sept. 14, 1979, in Sikeston, Mo.
Justin attended St. Vincent Grade School and Central High School in Cape Girardeau, and Le Cordon Bleu in Las Vegas. He was the extraordinary drummer in the local band Tribaldust and was a brilliant pianist. He was a highly talented and accomplished chef, having learned under such greats as Emeril Legasse. Justin was filled with creativity and passion, which were evident in his music and cuisine.
He moved to Colorado in September.
Loving survivors include his mother, Royce Kessel (Kevin) of Cape Girardeau; father, Charles Adams of Cape Girardeau; a son, Avi Green (and his mother, Chamika Garba) of Las Vegas; four brothers and a sister, Tyson Shoemaker (Leigh), Grant Adams (Bethany), Alex Adams (Kelli), Stephen Adams and Amberle McClanahan (David), all of Cape Girardeau; grandmother, Glenna Garrison of Sikeston; four nieces and nephews; several aunts and uncles.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family to be used toward funeral expenses.
