Mrs. Herman H. Eberhardt, 85, of 1109 S. 14th St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday evening at Park Lawn Nursing Home, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Eberhardt, nee Mathilda Bebermeier was born May 9, 1887, at Centerville, daughter of the late Henry and Mary Grotegut Bebermeir.
She was married to Herman H. Eberhardt April 5, 1913, at Manitowoc.
The couple celebrated its golden wedding anniversary in 1963. They farmed in the Town of Newton from 1913 to 1925. From 1925 to 1957 they owned and operated a farm implement store in Newton. They came to Manitowoc in 1957. She was a member of Wesley Methodist Church and the Christian Stewart Club.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Hugo (Ellen) Schmidt, of Newton and Mrs. Harold (Olga) Nisleit, of San Leandro, Calif.; a brother, Otto, of Newton; a sister, Mrs. Mary Rodewald, of Cleveland; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A grandchild, two sisters and two brothers, preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday until noon Saturday and then at the church until time of service.
Memorials may be made to Wesley Methodist Church.
