JOHNSTON, Flora L. (nee Dunford)
Peacefully, at PRHC, on Saturday, December 7, 2013 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Clifford Howard Johnston (1972). Cherished mother of Nancy and Giles Cyr (Lawson), Linda and Fred Levitt, Eleanor and Greg Topolie and Reva Johnston. Grandmother of Jane (Cam), Lynn (Roy), Scott (Mary), Julie (Steve), Andrea (Dave), Bradley, Nicholas, Lucas, Andrew (Shari), Jessica, Sarah, Michael and Gary; great-grandmother of 17. Dear sister of Stanley Dunford, Ila Shadgett and Karl Dunford; predeceased by Milton Dunford, Mina McGee, Mary Boate, Edna Darling, and Bill Dunford. Flora will be sadly missed by the Johnston family. Flora will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Flora was a long standing active member of Springville United Church. Flora's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Applewood Retirement Residence for their friendship and compassionate care. Visitation will take place from 2-4 & 7-9 pm on Tuesday followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 in the chapel of COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street. Interment will follow at Rosemount Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice would be appreciated by Flora's family.
