Warren was born on April 12, 1940 in the Spring Creek Community of Madison County, he was the son of the late Raphus L. Clark and Lois Gregory Clark. He was a member of Royal Chapel Church of God. He was a veteran of the United States Army and the Army Reserves. Warren spent his entire business career in the Industrial Supply business and retired as owner of Allied Industrial Supply and Allied Bearings & Supply. He also enjoyed going to Spring Creek, walking at the mall, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Artie Burns Clark and two brothers Al Benton Clark and James "Jim" Clark. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, W. Bryson and wife Karen of Hickory, a daughter and son-in-law, April Clark and husband Matthew Taylor of Icard, two sisters Ruby C. Marshall and Addie Belle C. Bowman, three brothers RL Clark and wife Patricia, Billy Clark and wife Jackie, and Phillip Joe Clark. Also surviving are four grandchildren Brooke E. Clark and fiancé Jared Ward, Nicholas W. Clark, Mark G. Taylor, Mary E. Taylor, special friend, Mozelle Woods, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service was held on Saturday December 28, 2013 at 11:00 A.M at Royal Chapel Church of God with the Rev. David Smith officiating. Interment followed at Catawba Memorial Park, Hickory.
Pallbearers was Bobby Clark, Carl Herman, Randy Heavner, Van Nance, Greg Whitener, and Dairl Reece. Honorary Pallbearers were the employees of Allied Industrial Supply and Allied Bearings and Supply. Heritage Funeral Service, Valdese, NC was in charge of arrangements.
