She was united in Holy Matrimony to Ronald Carl Lewis, a devoted husband until her passing.
Charlene confessed her belief in Christ at an early age at Peter's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church at Brickeys, Arkansas under the leadership of Rev. G. H. Hall.
Charlene departed this life on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
Her memory will forever be cherished by a devoted husband, Ronald Carl Lewis of Hughes, Arkansas; a daughter, Sharonda Lewis of Hughes, Arkansas; two sons, Ollie "Richard" Harrison of Arlington, Texas and Kevin Harrison of Houston, Texas. Seven sisters, Dorothy Davis Smith, Maxine Davis, and Margaret Davis of Chicago, Illinois. Lillie Davis of Bloomington, Illinois, Betty Davis of West Memphis, Arkansas, June Davis Hardaway and Lois Davis of Forrest City, Arkansas; two brothers, Jesse Davis, Jr. of Chicago, Illinois and Maurice Davis of Memphis, Tennessee. Seven grandchildren; her good friends, Cynthia Peals and Pearlie Willis along with a host of Nieves, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Pearlie Mae Davis Banks.
