Obituary - Thelma Williams Sanders, 93, passed away Thursday, July 18, 1996, from causes incident to age. She was born August 2, 1902 in Syracuse, Utah, a daughter of Thomas E. and Grace Beebe Williams.

She married Elias Van Sanders, February 18, 1926 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Van preceded her in death on April 8, 1996. Thelma was a housewife and moved to Kaysville in 1915 and had lived here for 81 years.

Thelma attended Davis County School, the University of Utah, and was a member of the Kaysville First LDS Ward. Over the years, she served in many church positions, including a counselor in the Relief Society. Thelma was also a member of the Kaysville Lantern Club.

Surviving are three sons and one daughter, David T. Sanders (Sandy), Sutter Creek, Calif.; William V. Sanders (Beth), Kaysville; Kemp W. Sanders (Janet), Syracuse; Geraldine S. Major (Bob), Kaysville; one brother, Howard W. Williams, St. George; 20 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Chase and a daughter, Adele.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 22, 1996 at the Kaysville City Cemetery, 500 E. Crestwood Road. Friends may call Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main.
