A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, Coal Valley.
Penny Ann Trede was born Sept. 27, 1946 in Rock Island, a daughter of Edwin and Irene VanHecke Trede.
She had worked as an executive secretary at the John Deere & Company Administrative Center, Moline. Penny loved her farm in New Windsor, trail riding and vacationing.
Survivors include aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
