Heather Anne "Boonie" Boone Shaw, 39, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away at 12:04 A.M. Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born in Bellefontaine August 15, 1974, to John and Cindy (Maxwell) Boone who survive. On June 18, 2005, she married Sean Shaw and he survives as well.
Also surviving are two sisters, Jennifer (Greg) Shaw and Danielle Tackett, both of Bellefontaine; a brother, Shawn (Samantha) Boone of Bellefontaine; maternal grandparents Sherry and Judy Maxwell of Russells Point, Ohio; her paternal grandmother, Barbara Boone of Sidney, Ohio; three step-children, Jenna Miller and Taylor Shaw, both of Bellefontaine, and Crue Shaw of Belle Center, Ohio; her in-laws, Terry (Karen) Bartley and Kerry (Lisa) Shaw, all of Bellefontaine, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Claire Boone; a nephew, Reiley Boone; and two uncles, Barry Maxwell and Jim Boone.
Heather was a 1994 Bellefontaine High School graduate and a member of the Indian Lake Community Church. She had worked as a corrections officer for the Logan County Sheriff's Office, Honda Transmission, Honda Adecco and JC Penney. She enjoyed completing crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and playing cards.
Pastor Jim Ellington and Pastor Karen Blackburn will officiate the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 30, 2013 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine. Calling hours will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Huntsville Cemetery in Huntsville, Ohio.
