Carolyn Seifers Watts, seventy-eight years old, beloved mother, wife, sister, and friend, passed away on December 22, 2013 surrounded by family.

She was born May 30, 1935 in Ely, Nevada to Leonard and Hilda Seifers.

She married her high school sweetheart, Elwood Lester Watts, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on September 3, 1954. They raised their children in Roy, Utah and later moved to Stansbury Park.

Carolyn was a kind, compassionate woman who was thought of as a friend by everyone she met. She was particularly good with those who were elderly and they greatly benefitted from her tender care and friendship. She loved her family and devoted her life as a wife, mother, and homemaker. She will be greatly missed.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings including Relief Society Counselor, chorister, and Mutual adviser. Her many talents included sewing, cooking, and singing. She loved to read and quilt as well.

She is survived by her children, David (Marilyn) Watts, Steve (Krista) Watts, Lori (Merrill) Child, Darin (Kimberly) Watts, Bryan (Elena) Watts, and Jenny (Sean) Barnard; twenty-five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; sisters: Marelyn Nielsen and Lenna Syphus; and brothers: Leonard Seifers and Monte Seifers. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Duffy Seifers and Hilda Doris Seifers.
