Emma never married. She lived & worked in various places including Wisconsin, Minnesota, & Oregon. In 1940, she was working in the household of Dr. & Mrs. Dirk Bruns in Milwaukee, WS.
Emma died in Canby, Oregon & was interred in the Indus Cemetery.
