Tim died of natural causes Tuesday, April 27, 1999, in Enloe Hospital. Originally from Lockport, NY, he was born May 29, 1951, to Ralph and Reba Parsons. He grew up in Paradise, attending local schools, and moved to Chico in 1973.
On January 13, 1971, he married Nancy Cannon in Reno, NV. Tim was self-employed as a musician and played in a number of bands. He started with rock'n'roll and moved to country music. Tim loved boating and water-skiing, swimming and trips to Reno and Tahoe. He was a loving father to his three children.
In addition to his wife of 28 years, he is survived by sons Timmy and Bobby and daughter, JoAnn, all of Chico; sisters Patti Ortiz and Lynn Sanchez of Chico; brothers John of Paradise and Mark of Concow; and his mom, Reba Benton of Chico.
