Rhoda was born July 17, 1920, in Moorhead, to Ray and Anna Anderson. She graduated from Moorhead High School and Interstate Business College in Fargo, ND.
On Oct. 14, 1939, she married Simar (Si) Nelson. While Si was a Marine in WWII she worked at the Fargo Theatre. Later she worked with her family: 1976-1990 Circle Realtors, 1990-1996 Town and Country Realty.
Rhoda was preceded in death by her husband, Simar; twin infant daughters, Nancy and Nina; and son-in-law, John Peterson.
Rhoda is survived by a brother, Arthur Anderson, Moorhead, two sons: Jerry (Marjo) Nelson, Fargo, and Mark (Mary Ann) Nelson, Moorhead, and a daughter, Nancy Peterson, Fargo.
