POLICE PERSONALS
The nucleus of what is intended to be broadened into a "traffic squad" was announced the past week. Sergeant Oliver H. Coffin, hack inspector, is to be mounted on a motorcycle to enable him to cover a large territory in the enforcement of the traffic regulations. Motorcycle Policeman Maurice Collins has been designated assistant to Sergeant Coffin. Other motorcycle men will be assigned to this squad later. Maj. Pullman will include in his annual report recommendations to the commissioners that Congress be asked to provide liberally for this branch of the service. Traffic regulation has been made a deep and careful study by Maj. Pullman.
