  WEST LIBERTY -
 Mrs. Katherine Addleman Hawker 85, of 101 East Fourth street, died at 6:15 p. m. Wednesday at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City, after an extended illness. She was born Nov. 17, 1881 at Rock Island, a daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Timmerson Metzentine.
She was married to Charles Addleman Feb. 3, 1897.  Following his death in 1952 she was married to Arthur Hawker in June, 1954. Mr. Hawker died in 1962.
 Mrs. Hawker was of the Methodist faith and wee a member of the Royal Neighbor lodge. Surviving are a son, Hiershel Addleman of Columbus Junction; a daughter, Mrs. Sadie Wheelock of San Diego, Calif.; two brothers, Harry White of Columbus Junction and John White of Davenport; a sister, Mrs. Edna Fordham of Muscatine; 10 grandchildren and 17 great - grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter and both husbands. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Snider Funeral home, where the body will remain. Burial will be at Oak Ridge cemetery, West Liberty.
