Survivors include her son, Larry Elshoff of Lake City, FL, her daughter Donna (Stuart) Brown of Scottsdale, AZ.; her granddaughters: Heather Brown of Maricupa, AZ and Melissa Brown of Scottsdale, AZ, and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her siblings: Cervanus Fledderjohann, Elmer Fledderjohann, Raymond Fledderjohann, Adelma Warner, Norma Kettler and Geraldine Roediger.
Mrs. Elshoff was a member of the First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville where she had played the piano for the Sunday School and was active in the Southside Baptist Church of Lake City, FL. She was a member of the New Knoxville Historical Society. She enjoyed playing her keyboard, working word and picture puzzles and going out to eat at local restaurants. She was a homemaker, but for a number of years worked at the former Kellermeyer's Menswear of St. Marys and worked at The Wardrobe when living in California.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home in New Bremen with Rev. Dr. David Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Pilger Ruhe Cemetery of New Knoxville.
Calling Hours will be Saturday from noon until the time of the services at the funeral home. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Haven Hospice c/o Swaney Valley Care Center, 6037 W. US Highway 90, Lake City, FL 32055.
