Lucille "Nanny" Rogers, 83, of Corinth died Sept. 25, 2005, in the Hospice Unit of St. Luke Hospital East in Ft. Thomas. She had retired as a waitress from Freeway Restaurant in Corinth and the former Wheeler's Restaurant and had worked for the McGregor Ball Factory in Corinth. She was a member of the Corinth Christian Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Rogers Vaughn and Cindy Rogers Pelkey, both of Corinth; two sons, Carl William Rogers of Live Oak, Fla., and Coleman Lee Rogers of Ft. Myers, Fla.; five grandchildren, Shannon L. Penniman of Richmond, Jennifer Duncan Smith of Owenton, Daniel Lee Rogers of Lawrenceburg, Chuck Rogers of Gainesville, Fla., and Will Harris Rogers of Frankfort; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sept. 28 at McDaniel Funeral Home in Corinth. Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of Northern Kentucky, 1403 Alexandria Pike, Ft. Thomas 41075.
