Allen T. Smith died at Sims. Burial in Hopewell Cemetery. Allen Theodore, son of Lincoln and Emma (Applegate) Smith was born in Gothenburg, Nebraska November 9, 1905. He married Lucy Malone November 19, 1932. They had one child. At the age of two his family came to Wayne County. He leaves his widow, one child, Nancy Catherine Smith, his mother, one brother, Howard Smith Sr., of Detroit, three sisters, Ruby Jones of Sims, Hattie Harris of Napa, California and Corabelle Powers of Mill Shoals and a nephew, Stanley Fenton, who was reared in his parents home.
