A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Jacqueline Marie Landry 72, the former Jacqueline Marie Johnny at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Loreauville, LA. She will await the resurrection at All Saint Cemetery, Loreauville, Louisiana.

A native of Loreauville, LA and resident of St. Martinville, LA. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Loreauville, LA, where she was a member of the Altar Society, Parish Council, and a Eucharistic Minister. She taught Catechism for forty years, and received the Martin Luther King Award from the Diocese of Lafayette. She was an educator for Smile Headstart for thirty-five years and loved children. She also enjoyed cooking and watching EWTN.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Johnny, one brother, David Johnny, maternal grandparents, Gunner Honore and Eva Lewis Honore, paternal grandparents, Willie Francis Johnny and Laura Jacob Johnny and one infant son. Courtesy of Fletcher Funeral Home
