Lula MayDeane (Reed) Young was the daughter of Clarence and Lena (Sprinkles) Reed. Lula graduated from high school in Warrensburg in 1963. She worked as a cashier at IGA in Sedalia for 20 years before retiring in 1983. Lula was an avid reader. She enjoyed tending her flowers. She loved animals and her grandsons were the joy of her life. Lula was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Helen Reed, and her brother, Jack Reed. She is survived by her husband, her daughter, two grandsons, three sisters and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services: December 27, 2013 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Francis officiating.
