Stanley L. Storm, 70, retired auto mechanic, died Monday in Tulsa. Visitation 1-6 p.m. Thursday, Rice Funeral Home, and graveside service 2 p.m. Friday, Woodlawn Cemetery.

Stanley Leon Storm was born on June 18, 1943 in Claremore, OK to Henry and Bessie (Sams) Storm.

Stanley was raised and educated in Claremore where he graduated from Claremore High School. A life-long resident of Claremore, he loved his community. In 1962 Stanley joined the United States Navy and faithfully served his country before receiving an honorable discharge.

Stanley was a devoted father and grandfather who loved his family. The highlight of his life was getting to know his daughter Kelly and starting a relationship with her just 10 years ago. As an auto mechanic, Stanley was good with his hands. He liked sports and was a fan of NFL football and horse racing.

This loving father, grandfather and friend will be missed by all who knew him. Stanley is survived by his daughter and husband; grandchildren; sister, brother and numerous nieces and nephews.

Stanley is preceded in death by his parents and brother James Leroy Storm. (Rice Funeral Home)
