He was born Feb. 1, 1956, in Macomb, the son of Junior and Marjorie Elizabeth (Yocum) Cook.
He married Susan King on May 10, 2008, in Plymouth, She survives.
He was survived by two sons, three brothers, one sister, three grandchildren, six step-grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
He was employed at the Vermont Foundry, in Vermont, Ill. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting guns and automobiles.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 29, 2008, at Hamilton Funeral Home, Augusta, with the Rev. Terry Long officiating.
Burial was in Blackburn Cemetery, near Brooklyn.
Memorials were to the family.
