Calvin Hines, aged sixty-five, died Monday night at the home of his brother, County Auditor, A. J. Hines, 1517 Morton Street, following an illness of a month resulting from bowel and heart trouble. He resided at Indianapolis but he has been making his home with his brother here since early in the fall. It is said that his condition did not become serious until a short time before his death.
His wife died a year ago last August and a short time before the death of Mrs. Hines they lost a son. The following children survive: Mrs. Gerald Cook, of Indianapolis; Mrs. Sidney Griswold, of Detroit, and Charles Hines, of Stockland, Ill.
