Keith Fox Sr., 87, of Friendsville, passed away Sunday Dec. 22, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph D. and Annie Mae Fox; siblings, Ralph Fox, Grace Taylor, and Edith Marcum; children, Pearl, and husband Luke Hackler, Sharon Christy and Sheila Hensley.
He was one of the original founding members of the Friendsville Volunteer Fire Department where he actively served for more than 50 years. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Betty M. Fox; children, Annie, and husband Dennis Lee, Keith Jr. and wife Roberta Fox, Louise, and husband Leonard McGill Jr, Joseph Fox, and Mitchell Fox; siblings, Robert Fox, Hazel Adams, Maxine Meyer and husband Ted; grandchildren, Tim, and wife Lisa Clark, Bobby Hensley, Michael Hensley, Christopher Baker, Leonard "Tiny" McGill III, and wife Tiffany; great-grandchildren, Zachary Clark, and Madaline McGill.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville with Tom Greene officiating. The family and friends will meet at Unitia Cemetery for graveside services at 11 a.m. Saturday Dec. 28, 2013. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
