According to his death certificate, Albert's parents' names were William Carsten and Josephine Cole. Albert was survived by his second wife, the former Ruth Deignan, whom he married on 27 Jan. 1935 in Queens, N.Y., and predeceased by his first wife, the former Ethel Sharp, whom he married on 4 Nov. 1925 in Hoboken, N.J.
