Jason was the life of the party and always wanted everyone to have a good time. He enjoyed the desert where he shared many great memories with friends. Jason was a big kid himself and was an "uncle" to so many of his friend's children. They all loved and adored him so much. He was kind, loving, funny, and down-to-earth. Jason touched many lives and was deeply loved by family and friends.
Jason is survived by his parents Harry and Sylvia of Holtville; his brothers Harry (Ginger) Jim (Araceli) and John; nephew, David Nelson and nieces, Bayleigh and Cyleigh Nelson. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Clem and Madeline Muller and his paternal grandmother, Willie Nelson.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Floyd Jr.
He is also survived by his uncles, Kenny Nelson, Sonny Muller (Nancy), Harvey Nelson and Floyd Nelson III; aunts, Janet and Valerie Muller, Linda Kollenborn and Karen Nelson, and numerous cousins.
Viewing for Jason will be on Monday, October 25, 2010 at Hems Brothers Mortuary in El Centro from 6 to 9 p.m. Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at 9 a.m. at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in El Centro. Burial will then follow at Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro.
