She was born July 19, 1920 to Abby and Katie Rymer Clarke in Lyman, Utah. She was the twelfth child of fourteen.
She married Ernest Anderson on May 29, 1938. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
Mom was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, holding many, many positions. She loved to serve the Lord.
Mom was a custodian for the LDS Church for twenty-five years. "Her Chapel Sparkled." At the age of sixty-three, she served in the Florida Tampa Mission. After her return from her mission, she served in the Jordan River Temple for eighteen years. She also worked for the Jordan School District for fourteen years. She loved quilting and embroidering pillow slips for her family and friends.
Survived by her daughters: Debra Campbell, Delores Nunley, and Natlie (Rick) Brunson; daughters-in-law, Betty Anderson and Barbara Anderson; brother, Morgan Clarke; fifteen grandchildren, forty-two great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Ernest; and sons, Nathan and Arlon.
A viewing will be held on Friday the 27th of December 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street (100 East), Midvale. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Midvalley First Ward Chapel, 1050 East Chapel Hill Drive, Midvale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services.
Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens.
