Fleeta Moch succumbs
Following an extended illness, death came Monday night to Fleeta Belle Moch, 88, daughter of a pioneer Harbor family and wife of a prominent, long-time Montesano jeweler.
Mrs. Moch, who died in her Mongesano home, had lived all her life in Montesano, where she was born March 13, 1884. Her father, John Medcalf, was a member of Washington State's first legislature.
She was married to Gaston Moch, who recently sold his jewelry business and retired, on October 22, 1912. She was a life-time member of the Eastern Star, a member of Daughters of the Pioneers,and a mother advisor for Order of Rainbow Girls.
Surviving are her husband at the family home; a son, Robert, of Bellevue; a daughter, Mrs. Marjory B. Robertson of Bainbridge Island; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services were held yesterday at the Montesano Methodist Church with the REV. Paul L. Crooks officiating. Montesano Whitesde Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Remembrances may be made to the W. H. Abel Memorial Library or to other favorite charities.
