George Wasington Bradford had married five times and had the total of 22 children (including step-children).
1st. Jane King - Their children were Mary Ann (Nov.4, 1839-1862), Soloman K. (April 4, 1841-1930), Sara Jane (Oct. 11, 1842 -), Malinda E. (Dec. 22, 1844- Oct. 17, 1845), Anna Eliza (Sept. 10, 1846-April 20, 1847), And Frances Elmire (April 1, 1848-March 29, 1849).
Jane was riding a horse across a swift stream of water. She was carrying her baby when her horse stumbled, causing her to drop the baby. She jumped into the water to rescue the baby, but they both drowned. She was 26 years old at the time.
2nd. Juan Fernandez Brown. She and the baby both died during childbirth.
3rd. Amelia Ollie (Saunders) Cox - She was a widow with one child. She had George had Elmina, John S., and Margaret M..
