Javier Miguel Castillo, age 19, of Roswell, passed away on December 18, 2013. Miguel was born on May 21, 1994 to Justin Martinez and Leticia Gurrola in Roswell, NM. Miguel was a young active boy who loved fishing, skateboarding, he was a loving and affectionate person to his mother, most of all, Miguel loved his son. Miguel was a very happy person, always smiling, he was loved by many people, and will always be missed.
Miguel is survived by his son, Mikhael Angel Castillo, mother, Leticia Gurrola, father, Justino Martinez, sister, Evelyn Baca, brother, Jesus Castillo, sister, Diana Castillo, sister, Justine Martinez, grandparents, Burt and Zenaida Butcher, Rodolfo Castillo, nephews, Julien Ray Baca, Jesus Junior Trevino, niece, Zaniya Angel Ruiz and Breanna Bailey, grandmother, Antonia Cardoza, grandfather, Fidel Jimenez, mother of his son, Trisha Contreras and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Miguel was preceded in death by his grandfather, Julian Gurrola and great-grandmother, Matilde Moreno.

A Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2013 at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home with Pastor Savino Sanchez officiating. Burial to follow at South Park Cemetery.
