Services for Mrs. Katherine G. Duty, 69, will be Thursday at the Meierhoffer chapel, the Rev. Martin G. Kabele officiating. Burial will be in the Savannah cemetery. Born in Lincoln, Mrs. Duty resided in Savannah before moving to St. Joseph, residing here most of her life.
Her address was 2410 North 7th. Mrs. Duty died Tuesday afternoon at a St. Joseph Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin O. and Chloe Gressley Hawkins. She is survived by her husband, Clifton Duty; a son Gerald L. Duty, St. Joseph; a sister, Mrs. Marjorie Holmes, St. Joseph; a niece and a nephew.
