Roby G. Bass Jr., born August 15, 1925 to Roby G. Bass Sr. and Elkana Ruth Bass in Collin County, Texas.
R. G. Bass Jr. completed his race well run early on Saturday, December 14, 2013.
He lived a life of service: to his country, to his community in and around Anna, TX and later in Duncanville, TX, to his church, to his wife and family, and to his Lord.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Sallie Jo Bass, his son Roby G. Bass III and daughter–in-law Robin Bass of Midlothian, TX, two grand-children, Ryan Taylor Bass of Houston, TX (and wife Chris Anna), and Rachel Noelle Bass of Midlothian, TX, and one sister, Bobbie Ruth Rabke of Mason, TX; and one beautiful great grandson, Everest Sinclair Bass, born just 4 days after his great grandpa's departure.
A Memorial Service will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Jaynes Memorial Chapel in Duncanville.
Inurnment in the Columbarium of the Dallas VA Cemetery is pending.
