Jacob served in the American Revolution as private under Capt. Thomas Parkinson's Washington County, Pennsylvania Militia, commanded by Lt. Co. Thos. Crooks and is permanently registered in the Daughters of the American Revolution. Son of Jacob Lash and Elizabeth Cobb and husband of Elizabeth Yost.
