She was born March 12,1925 in Union Church, Miss., a daughter of the late Hardy and Lola (Lora Hall) Cupit.
She was a New Castle resident for most of her life. She was a graduate of High School and attended 2 years of Business College. She was retired from Western Electric in Indianapolis after many years of service. She was also a Beautician in New Castle for many years. She loved family activities, music, TV, reading and raising flowers. Her favorite words of wisdom or advice. Be happy and take care of your health. She was a Christian of the Baptist Faith.
Family left to cherish her memory: one son, Raymond A. (Anne) Pearson Jr., of Baltimore, Maryland; four grandchildren: Blake, Erin, Cherrish and Hope; two great-grandchildren: Shelby and Georgia; one brother, Kenneth Cupit of New Orleans; one sister, Faye Arnold of Jackson, Miss,; also several nieces, nephews and cousins survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond A. Pearson Sr. who preceded her in death in 1983 and two sons Donald Gene Pearson and Jimmie Alan Pearson.
Visitation was at Macer-Hall Funeral Home in New Castle with burial at South Mound Cemetery.
