Pastor Johnathan Martin age 36 of Lafayette died December 22, 2013, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. A native of Smith County, he was a 1995 graduate of Smith County High School. He worked for Dorman Auto Products as a forklift operator and was the Pastor of the Willette Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Frank and Mayzell Albritton, D.J. and Georgia Grey Martin; father-in-law, Anthony Johnson.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 27, 2013, at 1 p.m. from the Willette Christian Church with Bro. Clifford Waters officiating. Interment – Defeated Creek Memorial Gardens. Visitation Thursday December 26, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Friday 10 a.m.- 12 Noon at Alexander Funeral Home, Lafayette. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Martin Family.
