Mark Alan Kirkendall 59, of Kokomo passed away at 9:56 pm on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Community Howard Regional Hospital. He was born on November 25, 1954 in Indianapolis to Donald W. And Marion (Amos) Kirkendall.
Mark was a 1973 Western High School graduate, a IUK graduate and received his Doctorate degree from Simon. Mark was the owner of Krikendall Marathon Stations in West Middleton. He attended Main St. Christian Church and served on the Western School Board. Mark was a member of New London Masonic Lodge #283 and was an I.U. Alumni.
Survivors include brother Michael (Nickie) Kirkendall of Kokomo; nieces and nephews Dawn (Craig) Sell of Galveston, Michael (Teresa) Kirkendall of Kokomo, Mistie (Jason Hunter) Kirkendall of Indianapolis, Oliver (Stac) Myers of Leroy, MI.
Preceded in death by his parents Donald and Marion; sister Sue Ellen Kirkendall.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, December 27, 2013 at Stout & Son Funeral Home 200 E. Main St. Russiaville with Pastor Steve Bishop. Burial will follow at Barnett Cemetery in Kokomo.
