of Alvey and Mayme Thomas Boots.
She was baptized into the death and
resurrection of Jesus Christ at the
Nemaha Methodist Church. She attended
Nemaha Consolidated High
School, graduating in 1939.
On Sept. 10 ,1948 she was joined in
marriage with Engvert Pedersen at Sioux
City. To this union were born three
daughters, Penny Sue, who died in infancy,
Lynda and Sherry and one son,
Layne. They made their home on a farm
outside of Newell were she was involved
in homemaking and booking for the
farm. On Apr. 21, 1957 she became a
member of Nain Lutheran Church in
Newell.
She was preceded in death by her
parents, her husband and infant daughter,
Penny Sue.
