He was born Wednesday, August 18, 1926 in Leck Hill, PA, son of the late Francis H. and Lizzy Paul Kahler.
He was a retired Assistant County Maintaince Manager for PA Dept of Transportation. He was a member of St. Peter's UCC, Lykens; He also was on the church consistory, and had helped maintain the church cemetery. He was a member of the Lykens F&AM Ashlar lodge#570, the Harrisburg Consistory and Tall Cedars, Millersburg.
Surviving are his wife, Carley Kahler and Son, Lynn, husband of Peggy Kahler of Elizabethville; Grandson, Tad Kahler with Christy and Courtney Peifer of Halifax. Many Nieces and Nephews.
Services will be held at St. Peter's U.C.C., Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jeff Wagner officiating.Interment will follow in the St. Peter's "Hoffman's" Cemetery, Lykens. Friends will be received at the church 10-11 A.M.., Tuesday, August 28 with Masonic Services at 10:45 A.M.Contributions may be made to the St. Peter's Building fund or Memorial fund, 1289 S.
