Mary E. Wildman was promoted to her eternal reward on December 22, 2013. She recently celebrated her 85th birthday with a host of family and friends. She was a long time resident of the Soso community and most recently resided in the Laurel area. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Sam and Ruby Howell of Jackson, MS, her husband William E. Wildman Sr. and two grandsons. She is survived by her 9 children and their spouses. Her children are Durell (Janet) Wildman (Cincinnati, OH), Dwayne (Brenda) Wildman (Tallulah, LA), Frankie (Margaret)Wildman (Laurel, MS), Ruby (Tubby) Smith (Lucedale, MS), Kay (Ronny) Walters (Lake Eddins, MS), Carolyn (Clint) Landrum (Laurel, MS), Sammy (Gail) Wildman (Kingwood, TX), Donnie (Pamela) Wildman (Laurel, MS) and Ed (Amy) Wildman (Laurel, MS). She leaves behind 29 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren who have many fond memories of their MawMaw Wildman. She was a member of the Greater Laurel United Pentecostal Church pastored by Rev. Donald Moore. The visitation and funeral will both be held at the Greater Laurel United Pentecostal Church located at 112 Flynt Road. The visitation will be Thursday, December 26 from 5-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 27 with burial immediately following at Union Line Cemetery. The family would especially like to pay special tribute to the Comfort Care nursing facility and the loving care they provided for over 5 years. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Greater Laurel United Pentecostal Church, 112 Flynt Road. Laurel, MS. 39440 Memory Chapel is in charge of services.
