Indiana Evening Gazette, 9 Jan 1968, Annie C Lichtenfels, 83, of New Florence R.D. 2, died Monday, Jan. 8, 1968, at Raymond Hospital, Johnstown.
Born Oct. 8, 1884, in W e s t Wheatfield Twp., she was a daughter of Andrew and Susan Long Penrose.
She was a member of the Robinson Zion Lutheran Church and the Adult Bible Class.
Surviving are the following children: Ira, Erie; Lee, Toledo,Ohio; Dean, Baytown, Tex.;Mrs. Ruth Lynn, New Florence R.D. 2; Mrs. Clark (Gail) Fogle,Pittsburgh; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters: Mrs. Sadie Frain, Sarver,
and Mrs. Millie Montgomery,Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross, in 1946; a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Montgomery;two brothers, Paul and Chalmer; and two sisters, Mrs.
Emma Closson and Gertrude.
Friends will be received after 8 p.m. today (Tuesday) at the Gray Funeral Home, Seward,where services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. with Rev.Richard Ebel and Rev. Kamal Hanna, officiating. Interment will be made in the Germany Lutheran Cemetery.
