Mr. Justin Adam Calhoun, 32, of Joplin, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday, December 21, 2013 in Joplin, Missouri.
Justin entered this life on January 13, 1981 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, born to the union of Rick and Rosetta (Lail) Calhoun. He was raised and attended school in Quinton, Oklahoma. He left Quinton in 2000 and moved to Goodman, Missouri. He worked as a machinist prior to being in an automobile accident in February of 2002. He was an avid OU fan and was of the Pentecostal faith.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Rocky Calhoun; and paternal grandfather, E.J. Calhoun.
Justin is survived by his wife, Daniell of the home; five children, Riley, Jaxon, Mya, Alex and Cole; his parents, Rick Calhoun of Quinton, Oklahoma and Rosetta Lewis of Goodman, Missouri; two sisters, Jessaca Lewis and Tiffany Watkins; maternal grandparents, Haskell and Letha Lail of Anderson, Missouri; paternal grandmother, Armatha Calhoun of Quinton, Oklahoma; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Calhoun are 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2013 at the Greater Refuge United Pentecostal Church in Quinton, Oklahoma with Pastor George Mantooth officiating. Burial will follow in the Quinton Cemetery. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Jessaca Lewis, Tiffany Watkins, David Watkins, Dustin Gwaltney, Daniel Miller and Rodney Folsom.
