David L. Denman, age 55, of Salt Lick, Kentucky and formerly of Harpster, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 3:30pm in the Emergency room of Mt. Sterling Hospital.

David was born April 20, 1956 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio to Robert and Joan (Lowry) Denman. He married Linda Denman (Shuler) on October 14th 1978 in Upper Sandusky at St. Paul Lutheran Church and she survives.

David is also survived by two sons, Matthew Denman and his wife Amanda, of Bowling Green, Ohio and Benjamin Denman and his wife Maritza, of Vineland, New Jersey; his father, Robert Joseph Denman of Harpster, Ohio and three grandchildren, David and Emma Denman of Vineland, New Jersey, and Meridian Denman of Bowling Green, Ohio and one sister Anne Denman of Upper Sandusky, Ohio and her daughter Adrienne

David was preceded in death by his mother Joan Lowry Denman.

David was a quality manager for A.O. Smith and was employed for 25 years, he relocated to the Mt. Sterling plant 2 ½ months ago from Del Rio, Texas. David was also a member of the Elks Lodge, a graduate of Upper Sandusky High School, and enjoyed being a ham radio operator. He will be dearly missed by his family.

Visitations for David L. Denman will be held on Friday, January 13, 2012 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm & 6:00pm – 8:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.

Services following the visitation will be private with burial taking place at Oak Hill Cemetery in Upper Sandusky. It was David's wishes to be cremated.

Memorial contributions may be made the American Heart Association and can be sent to Lucas-Batton Funeral Home 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio 43351.
