Services for Mrs. Lurana Baethge Hartman, 96, of Kerrville, who died Monday in a Fredericksburg nursing home, will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Grimes Funeral Chapel with Elder Richard Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Born Aug. 25, 1896 in Gillespie County, Mrs. Hartman had been a resident of Kerrville for 72 years. She was a housewife and seamstress and a member of Squaw Creek Baptist Church in Doss. She married Henry A. Hartman on Jan. 30, 1918 in Gillespie County. He preceded her in death in 1964.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Mae Louise and Ed Baskin Sr. of Kerrville; a son and daughter-in-law, Reuben H. and Mary B. Hartman of Kerrville; three sisters, Mrs. Lora Carter of Fredericksburg, Mrs. Alma Dittmar of Harper, and Mrs. Leona Wolfmueller of Kerrville; five grandchildren, Robert E. Hartman of Dallas, Mary Anne Hartman of Austin, Ed S. Baskin Jr, of Kerrville and Charles H. Baskin and Don E. Baskin both of Corpus Christi; three great grandchildren, Dustin Baskin and Barrett Baskin, both of Kerrville, and Mallory Leigh Baskin of Corpus Christi.
Pallbearers will be Ed S. Baskin Jr., Charles Baskin, Don Baskin, Robert E. Hartman, Al Baethge and Van L. Mudd.
Memorials may be made to Squaw Creek Baptist Church in Doss.
Grimes Funeral Chapel in Kerrville is in charge of arrangements.
