Marvin Glen Monday, 61, of Crab Orchard, passed away Dec. 14, 2013. Funeral services were held Dec. 18 from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home. Bro. Todd McDonald officiated, with burial in Haley's Grove Cemetery. He was born July 6, 1952, in Crab Orchard, the son of Glen and Vera Thompson Monday. He was retired as a welder and attended Zion Assembly Church of God. He is survived by his wife, Diana Monday of Crab Orchard; daughters, Nora Mae Bilbrey and husband, Davy, of Crossville; Dreama Sue Phillips and husband, Chris, of Crossville, and Lacy Ann Monday of Crab Orchard; brother, Sam Monday and wife, Sherrita, of Crab Orchard; and sister, Janice Norris of Crab Orchard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Dreama Sue Monday. Pallbearers were Bruce Wilcox, Daniel Dodson, Caleb Norris, Brent Hatcher, Gary Thompson and Timmy Hilton.
