A native of Buncombe Co., she was a daughter of the late Fred and Jennie Rutherford Rogers. She was also preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. W. Alonzo Watts, by her son, William Alonzo Watts, Jr., and by 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Mrs. Watts was a member of Open Bible Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Emily Morris and husband Martin of Candler; 6 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service for Mrs. Watts will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with the Reverends David Glenn, Marvin Watts, and Robert Elliott officiating. Interment will follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park.
