According to her Burial Record Ada Elizabeth O'Rourke was born abt 1879 at Kempton, Tasmania. In 1902 she married Thomas Henry Augustine Penny who used one of his many aliases Cecil Royal Aubrey. He was a serial bigamist and career criminal spending some 40 years of his life in Gaol. She herself was charged in 1900 along with Thomas for uttering a false cheque. She had two daughters with Thomas (Erreta Eveland & Lois Ismay). After Thomas deserted her she and her children sailed from NSW to Tasmania. She was admitted to the New Town Infirmary Consumptive (TB) Ward in May 1918 where she died on the 25th Oct 1918. She was buried in a paupers grave along with 302 other people. Her daughters were adopted.
