Kenneth Harold Fielder was born January 24,1907, at Lebanon, Ind., the son of Sydney and Lydia Browne Fielder, at Hubbard. He received his education in the Hubbard and Eagle Grove school systems.

He later moved to Denver, Colo., where he worked for Greyhound Bus Lines. He relocated to Eagle Grove in 1929, and was employed with Wilson & Company. He has lived in Des Moines since 1940, when he joined Solar Aircraft Company. He retired in 1960.

He was a member of the Construction Workers International.

Kenneth Fielder died at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines October 29,1991, following complications he received from a fall he had taken in his home. He had attained the age of 84 years, nine months, and five days.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Beulah Trout; and three brothers, Perry, Browne and Donald.

He is survived by his sister, Mary Robertson, Cherokee; two nephews, Robert Trout, Indianapolis, Ind.; and Richard Trout, Elkhart, Ind.; and a niece, Mrs. Jules (Helen) Mayer of Dallas, Texas.

Graveside services were held October 31, at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove. The Rev. Scott C. Hall officiated at the 1 p.m. services. Kastler Babcock Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
