Hattie Isabelle Fowler Watts, 86, of Asheville passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the John F. Keever Jr., Solace Center in Asheville. Born April 29, 1931 in Madison County, she was a daughter of the late John Wesley and Tisha Caldwell Fowler. She retired from Sayles Bleachery after more than 20 years of service, and enjoyed needle point and crocheting beautiful quilts. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her spouse, Willis Watts; daughter, Edna Ruth Holt; and several siblings. Surviving are her siblings: Arthur Fowler and his spouse, Blanche, of Hot Springs, NC, James Fowler and Roy Fowler and his spouse, Imogene, all of Shut-In, NC, and Faye Gunter and her spouse, Fred, of Laurel, NC; and granddaughter, Diana Hancock of Greenville, NC. No services will be held at this time.
