Faith Dolan Hopkins, 88, of Niskayuna was born to the late T. Frank and Marjorie Joy Dolan Jr. Faith, better known as Fifi, was a graduate of Marymount Academy in Terrytown, NY, and attended Syracuse University and Knox Junior College before entering the WAVES in 1944.
After WWII she worked at radio station WNDR from its inception until 1948. She married attorney Joseph T. Hopkins of Syracuse. In 1963 they moved to Niskayuna with their six children. Faith was a member of the Mohawk Golf Club, Schenectady Curling Club, Marsh Creek Country Club in St. Augustine, FL, and the Cavalry Club in Manlius, NY. Mrs. Hopkins was predeceased by her husband, Joseph T. Hopkins, in 2005 and a sister, Jane Eldert.
She is survived by six children...; three siblings, Susan Moran, Martha Wason and Thomas F. Dolan III; six grandchildren...; one great-grandchild... and three stepchildern.... Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
