Mrs. Wilma Dean Lawrence, 71, of Bowling Green, Missouri formerly of Louisiana, Missouri passed away Thursday, December 19 2013 at the DePaul Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2013 at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana, Missouri. The Rev. Paul Lewis will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 21st at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery near Louisiana, Missouri.
Wilma was born August 18, 1942 in Hannibal, Missouri, the daughter of Ed and Carrie Chapman Bowler.
She married James William Lawrence December 27, 1982 at the Faith Baptist Church in Louisiana, Missouri and he preceded her in death November 13, 1991.
Wilma is survived by two daughters, Kathryn Louise Perkins (Lavern) of New Hartford, Missouri and Mable Bowler of Bowling Green, Missouri, One son, Bill Lawrence, Jr. of Marion, North Carolina, 8 Grandchildren, 1 great –great grandson, Three brothers; Harold Bowler of Independence, Missouri, Carl Bowler and Kenneth Bowler both of Hannibal, Missouri, Two sisters; Glenna Utley and Helen Nair both of Hannibal, Missouri and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Richard Bowler and a daughter, Donna Bowler both who died in 1973. Five sisters and four brothers.
She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Louisiana, Missouri.
